ZanaAfrica equips Kenyan girls and women to become the next generation of leaders in their communities by creating simple solutions to address root causes of gender inequality.

Our first solution is distribution of sanitary pads to school girls along with technology-driven health education and community empowerment. In early 2012, we are launching the first longitudinal study on the impact of pads on school performance metrics.
